Born in Ioannina in 1982, I studied law and worked for 7 years as a lawyer. Yoga accidentally entered my life in 2007 and literally changed it. After many years of personal practice, I traveled to India to gain knowledge from the place where yoga was born.

I hold a 500h diploma in ashtanga-vinyasa yoga from the famous Sampoorna school in Goa, India, certified by the Yoga Alliance, and along with yoga I hold a certification in Thai Massage from the ITM school in Thailand. Having 9 years of teaching experience, I try to impart my knowledge in the subject I love, following the advice of my teachers through my personal way of teaching.

Marilena has been involved in the art of dance since 3.5 years old. She eventually studies dance and graduates from the “Rallou Manou” Higher Professional School of Dance in 2003.

In 2008, whilst being a professional dancer and dance tutor, Marilena completes 600 hours of Power Pilates training (Mat & Equipment), with her instructors Eugenia Papadopoulou and Bob Liekens.

Following that, her magical Yoga journey begins, with Marilena traveling to India twice and completing 500 hours of training with Michalis Filinis in 2014 (RYT 500), whilst also training in childrens’ yoga by Christina Matsis.

In 2015 she completes the Pre-Post natal Pregnancy Yoga training course with Sue Elkind.

Marilena is also a Founding Member of the Greek Pilates Association. She constantly seeks new knowledge with continuing education seminars and teaches in dance schools, in Pilates-Yoga studios and on a personal level.
